Leadership Development

At NC State, leaders emerge all around us — in the classroom, on the intramural fields, in our research labs, and in the theater.

  • The Center for Student Leadership, Ethics and Public Service makes leadership development opportunities available to students at all stages of their academic careers.
  • From career fairs to internships and co-ops, the Career Development Center is helping students build their resumes and develop the skills they need to be competitively recruited after graduation.
  • Greek Life is about community, and our students recognize that they are also part of a larger community that exists outside of the university. Leadership skills are built through involvement in fraternities and sororities, leaving students poised to help the greater community thrive.
  • The Office of Undergraduate Research matches students from every discipline with mentors who are experts in their fields, guiding them in their development as innovative, critical thinkers. Scholarly research may lead students towards graduate school or help identify future career paths.
